Pukhraj- The Yellow Sapphire

Pukhraj is also from the corundum family, yellow in colour. Its a similar stone in terms of its composition, to Ruby and Blue Sapphire but it is very different in its effects.

Its the stone of the Planet Jupiter which is by its natural virtue , a benefic planet , but it doesn't mean that everyone can wear it. You should always consult an Astrologer for the wearing recommendation. It affects almost all wordily and materialistic happiness. Pukhraj is a yellow coloured, transparent stone. Yellow sapphire affects knowledge, wisdom, virtue, fortune, justice, education, future, religion, philosophy, devotion, children, distant travel, spirituality, truthfulness, prosperity and charity.

It also avoids a lot of diseases of the eye , pancreas. Different rashi people have different effects on them if they wear pukhraj.

Its worn in the right hand index finger on a Thursday only .... No deviations please... You have to pray to Lord Brahaspati while wearing it.Also the stone should be good, no blemishes, it should not be cracked or should not be opaque or even translucent because it may have an adverse effect .

You should not wear a Diamond, Emerald or Blue Sapphire, unless recommended by the Astrologer.

Well Pukhraj is the most worn stone.. and the most loved.

The Blue Sapphire- Neelam

Neelam , known as Blue Sapphire... very fast affecting stone.Governed by the lord Saturn, its Shani's favourite stone. Its a stone of the kings !!!

The best Sapphire is found in Sri Lanka and Kashmir, though its also found in Russia and parts of US.The prices of Sapphire are dropping now a days because its close competition with Tanzanite. Remember the so called Diamond which Rose had in the movie Titanic.. that was tanzanite.

The colours of Neelam are somewhat like the  peacock blue. The clarity and cut make it dazzle.Blue sapphire is a transparent and crystalline form of Corundum i.e Aluminum Oxide .

The effects of wearing Neelam- Blue Sapphire are extreme.... it can make one rule or ruin completely. People should consult a astrologer BEFORE wearing Neelam. Its effects are as quick as in 3 sec, 3 mins, 3 hours, 3 days. 3 days is the general time for testing whether it suits an individual or not. Some learned people say that even you start dreaming as soon as you wear Neelam and the type of dream indicates it you should ear it or not..

Do you know Sapphire is the second hardest stone.. after diamond ..while Tanzanite which is a similar looking stone needs to be taken care of.

REMEMBER.. you should not wear Blue Sapphire without consulting a astrologer and never combine it with Pearl , Ruby or Coral

Jewel know how !!

Did you know that semi precious stones have power of healing . The stones are extracted in raw form from the mountains , refined and cut to dazzle. The stones like Saphire, Turquoise and Emerald  are the most known for their effect which are in sync with the planetery positions.

All stones which are to be worn for planetry effects need to be of a certain weight and purity. They also have a particular day on which you have to wear it. The stone needs to be cleaned and the lord of the planet ruling the stone needs to be worshiped.

Will give information on each stone on regular basis so that next time you see a stone.. you know what it does...
